this is a bad year.
for sci fans at least.
dys brought to my attention that hitchikers guide will probably suck. now i just found out about I ROBOT.
one of my most favorite books. one that sent me on a spiral of sci-fi amazement. one that would be the building block for my current belief systems. hollywood has struck again. why.

it was in the park next to starbucks. i was walking to my car and saw him. i walked over to be sure. if i wasnt already late i would have went home to get the cam. im going to search for him tonight. THE LEGEND IS REAL!!!!!!!!!
now on to a new subject:
PEOPLE I HATE.
1. assholes who take up 2 parking spots. guess what!! you are not fucking special.
2. that fireman who is ordering coffee for the entire firestation. and since when did fireman drink foo foo drinks?
3. also, this goes with #2, the person that stands in line (this can be anywhere) for like 5-10 minutes then when its their turn they have no fuckin clue what they want. its like as soon as they get to the register they loose their frickin mind.
4. im sorry, but if you are going to drive the speed limit. please do it in the slow lane. HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE ME ALL UP IN YOUR ASS. IM ALMOST INSIDE YOUR CAR!!
5. fakers. dont tell me you quit smoking because i just let you 'borrow' your third smoke in 20 minutes. faker.

Its Tuesday. I have recovered from the weekend.
I hate being gone for an extended time nowadays cause I just feel weird. Not like vacations, but driving in my car and staying at a place for 24 hours then driving somewhere else and rinse repeat. I spent Thursday in santa maria, woke up long enough on Friday to get coffee and swing by the courthouse to witness the king of pop and his fanatics make a spectacle of the media. It was awesome, and if I wasn’t a fuck, and didn’t forget my camera, you would have some awesome pictures of Michael Poppins and his umbrella to feast your eyes upon. I was laughing the whole time. How strange the crowd there was.
After that, it was to LA for another 24 hours then back to the bay area. I had an invite to a birthday party on Saturday night. And that party was just awesome. It was still around 80 at 9 in Livermore when I got there.
DJ was spinning breaks and it was nice. I think there wasn’t one girl wearing a skirt. Lucky me, eye candy for days. Highlights include:
• my boy darin trying to defeat a whole bottle of ciroc vodka (The snap frost won. Darin was passed out somewhere by 1230)
• the pot brownies completely eaten in under 15 minutes,
• my friend chris playing gay to avoid dirty girls
• writing the name rico with a sharpie on peoples cups when they weren’t looking
Sunday, was strictly spent poolside. All day. Until around 9 at night. A good friend wants me to do some consultation work on his startups office. Sweet, could be a good payday coming soon.
Im not looking forward to this weekend. I have to drive to LA AGAIN for a friends 30th birthday. I just want to chill. Cook and then chill. I just hate driving that far. Would rather fly. Oh well.

half day today!!
well not really half, but im getting off at 2:30 instead of 4:30 so i guess its just a 'short' day.
SHARKS GAME tonight at the TANK.
so, im getting off work and heading straight to my bro's house in campbell where we will commence with the cooking and drinking!
and the best of all, I HAVE TOMORROW OFF! im going to sleep in hella late (prob cause ill be hungover). then who knows what. it dont even matter.

i might turn this into a photojournal, since you reading about my life has got to be boring as hell. but one thing, i developed 4 rolls of film that i took over 2 years ago and i almost fainted. the colors the quality the focus the shadows were fuckin amazing. i havent used my SLR since then right around when i got my digicam. holy shit, ive been trying and trying to get my digi pics to come out a way i want but they never come close, at least with digi i can take a pic a million times. ill have to scan these film shots in.
i have some insane pictures of hot water music at the gilman in berkeley. but for now, i leave you with a digi of me in my spare room!

wow, super nice weekend. i hardly did anything. i went out on friday to a dive bar and the rest of the weekend was super nice.
firday was cool, we were all just chillin in the tiny tiny bar and one of my friends justin, his coworker was there doing a shit load of magic tricks. it was rad. after awhile we had half the place sitting around our table while this guy mike was pulling some crazy tricks out. i like that shit. even if its kind of stupid, i like suspend my disbelief just long enough to be entertained.
saturday i drove to santa cruz and up highway 1 to san francisco then headed home. never got out of the car. just crusied with the ipod and the windows down. nice little drive.
watched school of rock last night on dvd. awesome movie.
i love JBlack and richard linklater is an awesome director which makes me want to watch tape again. oh, or maybe dazed and confusued only cause joey adams and parker posey are in it.

i got my ipod last night.
i listened to some Too $hort on the way to work since stern is on vacation.
i fucking love this thing already.
i highly recomend one, its so choice.
i put 1300 songs on it last night, only problem is i cant find anything!!
ill have to organize everything better tonight.
im excited for this weekend. a big group of us are going to san francisco for a couple of our friends birthdays. we got a giant stretched escoalde and gonna hit up some clubs. i want to check loft 11 but dont know if its good or not. may just hit sublounge or one8one. who cares really, ill be in a limo getting drunk yellin out directions

damn, it was hot here yesterday.
almost 68 degrees. im sure south cali was really nice.
beaches were probably packed. reminds me of when i was a senior in high school (yes, back in 1995, i can remember back then) and we would ditch school to hang out at the beach. my mom would just call it in that i felt ill.
last night sat on the patio with a few beers and some hot links cookin.
was actually nice. but i really wish it would get freeezzinnnng cold and rain like mutha so the sierras would get packed with powder. i need more snow days.
im so ready to move from my apartment.
there is tons of stuff available in my area now since the dot com meltdown.
nothing like when i first moved up here.
today im sporting my NO ORACLE pin. i got it like a month ago when i took off early to go to the dentist. i saw the peoplesoft parkinglot was packed with tents and all kinds of people so i stopped in. huge bar-b-que and bands and tons of PS employees chilling having fun. i saw huge table with like 1000 of these pins and badges showing no love for Oracle. i put two on and hung out for an hour with some iced tea and an overcooked hamburger. fun.
so peoplesoft owns like half the office buildings in town.
i would assume at least 25% of their employees live in the tri-valley area.
if oracle did buy them out, shit, i would be able to find a place to rent for fuckin nothing.....but i support them, i hope they continue to give the DBA giant Oracle the finger and do it on their own.

yes, but only one for the left hand and one for the right.
i only watch the grammys and the mtv music awards.
i love the music stuff, cause there are hardly any actors and if there is, its usually like LL cool J who cant act anyway. no actors ensure that many people will look like total idiots and saying something totaly retarded. mtv awards are the best, i know like 1 song out off all the crap they are awarding, but tons of shit always goes wrong. nothing beats affected people making an ass of themselves.
i cant think of anything i did this weekend. i really didnt do anything.
ive been hella broke lately, and that ipod is getting further and further away.
im bored. i want something new to do on weekends. no money means no snowboarding.
i want to hang out with some new peeps or party in a different area. tired of the same bars and same clubs. yes, im a little bitch i know.
valentines day coming up. what a fuckin scam.
but i will subscribe to it anyway.

today is wednesday. yay for that.
shitty im at work. we have had some fuckin awesome storms here, and while all my friends are sipping coffee waiting right now for the lifts to open, im here, at work, boooo~! im sure tonight i will hear of how much powder was everywhere and it was nuthin but fresh lines every ride. oh well, im trying to head up on sunday since a new storm is inbound fri and sat.
i think i might hit up atlanta this spring.
its either that or portland. portland is closer but ive never been to atlanta.
funny thing is, i have no idea why i even want to go there. maybe ill hit up miami.
i dunno... any suggestions? major problem is, i cant take much time from work since the office will collapse if im gone for more than a week.
